As former CEO of Alberta Women Entrepreneurs (AWE), she is proud to have led work to create more than $400 million in economic impact, expand access to resources for thousands of business owners, and national thought leadership in inclusive entrepreneurship. Known for her collaborative spirit and strategic mindset, Marcela has worked with organizations to unlock inclusive economic growth, elevate diverse voices, and build resilient, innovation-driven ecosystems.
As CEO and principal consultant at Bright Idea International, Marcela draws from a rich blend of corporate, non-profit, and public sector experience to support clients’ strategic growth, global market access, governance, and engagement.
